Bollington T.C open new AXO Leisure MUGA.
15 years since the original idea, Bollington Town Council have opened their brand new Multi-use games area, with all works provided by Axo leisure Ltd.
After being successfully chosen through a tender process, Axo Leisure worked closely with Bollington T.C to deliver a bespoke court, with hybrid fencing design, integral floodlighting linked to the existing Leisure Centre and Pavilion, groundworks and surfacing as well as court markings and storage facility.
The floodlighting system is a bespoke design tailored to the needs of the council so it can be controlled and monitored via the leisure centre or playing field pavilion depending on the user.
This July, Axo Leisure Directors Darren Akeroyd and Matt Higginbottom attended the grand opening of the MUGA with appearances from the Mayor, local counsellors and community members. With funding help from WREN and years of dedicated planning and support from the local community and council, the end result is a fantastic facility for the public and sport club members.
